Privacy Notice
How Digital BoardsDirect uses the personal information you share with us.
Last updated: 29 October 2026. This notice covers this website. It sits alongside the main Boards Direct privacy policy.
Who we are
Digital BoardsDirect is operated by Boards Direct, a trading name of Paul David Enterprises Limited (company no. 07012824), Unit 31, Nottingham South & Wilford Industrial Estate, Nottingham, NG11 7EP. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at sales@boardsdirect.co.uk or 0800 612 5432.
What we collect
- Quote and enquiry details – your name, company, email address, telephone number, project postcode and the project information you choose to give us.
- Emails and calls – the information you share when you contact us directly.
- Technical data – our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details to respond to your request, prepare quotations and, if you go ahead, to supply and support your products. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists from this website’s quote form.
Who we share it with
- Web3Forms – a form service that delivers quote-form submissions to our sales inbox.
- Cloudflare – hosts this website and provides security.
- Allsee Technologies – product images on this site load from the manufacturer’s website, so your browser connects to their server. If you place an order, we may share the details needed for delivery, warranty and support.
- YouTube (Google) – only if you choose to play an embedded product video. See our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting order, and in line with our accounting and legal obligations. Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Contact us using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
